The 19th Hole

Welcome to Dude Write!

We are thrilled to have you here, whether you are a Writer Dude, a Blogger Dude, a Reader Dude or a Fanatic of good writing. If you've stumbled upon us via a link and wondering what you've gotten yourself into, our Mission Statement should explain it all.

Let's face it, we work hard.

We work...AT work...AT home.

We blog and sometimes that feels like work.  Sure, we have other hobbies, many of which take hard work to enjoy.

Though Golf isn't a sport that I particularly enjoy, there is one part of it that I am always on board with....the 19th Hole!  Drinks and relaxation and crowing about the accomplishments of the last 18.  Well, Dude Write is full of statistics and per the etiquette of the 19th Hole....

How about the 100,000 Visits we've had?

And the 500 Entries we've seen in our 18 contests, not to mention the Entries in the Flash Fiction.

Of course, our 300 Twitter followers and 200 Followers already know how great we are!

The Dudes are seriously hooking up with the Lady readers!

(end false bragging)

SPEAKING OF THE LADIES, Dude Write 20 is going to feature a break for our guys and center stage for the Dudettes again!  Don't miss that one.  Our Dudes will get 3 invites to pimp some of their favorite lady bloggers posts.

Dude Write Rules

For a quick guide on linking up, see the Dude Write Rules page for everything you need to know. To Summarize:
Write Original, Quality, Non-commercialized (or Pornographic) posts.
Read other Dude's entries and tweet / comment the ones you like.
Come back Sunday night through Tuesday and use 3 votes on what you liked.
Shortly after voting ends, a follow-up post will arrive with our patented (no not really, but they should be) Diamond, Platinum and Gold Man Cards, as well as our Chairman's Choice of which there will be at least 3 for the week. We will also be honoring the best comment on the Starting Lineup with our Color Commentator Man Card.

And Then?

There is no more "and then" if you have questions post 'em to Twitter or contact the editors.

Like a Mantra only better. Read (as many as you can), Tweet (the ones you like), Vote (for 3 on Sunday night through Tuesday night).
