Welcome to Dude Write!
We are thrilled to have you here, whether you are a Writer Dude, a Blogger Dude, a Reader Dude or a Fanatic of good writing. If you've stumbled upon us via a link and wondering what you've gotten yourself into, our Mission Statement should explain it all.Cast off the awkward teenage years, Dude Write is coming into its own. If we were a girl, we'd be Sweet Sixteen, never been kissed. Of course, with this rowdy crowd, we'd hardly be mistaken for a teenage girl and kissing isn't really a problem.
For boys, the 16th birthday is when we yearn to get our license and our own car. A car brings with it the ability to extend our adventures beyond our current borders. For some 16 year old boys, the first car is the beginning of a life long love affair with wheels. Many boys bonded with their dads in the garage, changing the oil or spark plugs. My dad was not a "car dad" but rather a "lawn dad" so I learned most of what I know from my high school best friend.
My Dream Car - was the 1966 Ford Mustang, preferably "Rag Top", even more preferable the Shelby GT variety of which about 10 were made.
