And perhaps it is.
But what happens when the first and second time were also a charm?
Dude Write I & II were both huge successes. Not only did a ton of guys show up, but they also brought some great writing and wonderful posts that really helped to define what Dude Write is all about.
When we started this experiment, we weren't quite sure what to expect. We knew that there were some great male bloggers out there, but we weren't sure that they would show up the way they have been and bring such humorous, raw, entertaining, and awe-inspiring pieces of writing.
Dude Write is, admittedly, a work in progress. When we started, we simply wanted to create a community for guys to come together and share some of their work. But beyond that, we lacked a definition.
But you guys are defining the hell out of Dude Write.
Each voice is unique and compelling. And with each submission, each comment, each vote, and each tweet, you are all adding another element to the definition.
Yea, the third time's a charm.
Dude Write I was a charm.
Dude Write II was more charming.
Now lets make Dude Write III more charming-er.
Dude Write RulesFor a quick guide on linking up, see our How Do I page for instructions. As we haven't determined the exact schedule for Dude Write, some changes may occur to our rules. See the Dude Write Rules page for everything you need to know.

Come back Monday night or Tuesday and vote on what you liked.Shortly after voting ends, a wonderful follow-up post will arrive with our patented (no not really, but they should be) Diamond, Platinum and Gold Man Cards, as well as our Chairman's Choice which there will be at least 2 of for the week. We are certainly hoping that Six Finger Monkey shares his love.
And Then? There is no more "and then" if you have questions post 'em to Twitter or contact the editors.
Keep in mind, the spirit of our venture. Read (as many as you can), Tweet (the ones you like), and Vote (for 3 on Monday night and Tuesday morning).
